Piper Finnian. The Interview is Back.

You guys.  I haven’t done an interview with the kids in forever.

And they used to be so much fun.

So I’m wishing you and yours a happy Friday and a stellar weekend and I’m asking mine a couple of questions and writing down what she says . . . .

Finish this sentence – My name is Piper Finnian and I like to:

Eat bubble gum.

Okay.  Bubble gum is good.  How often do you eat bubble gum?

A lot.  But not mostly.

Hmmm.  That sounds funny.  Let’s move on.  Ah – tell me about school.

It’s fun.  My favorite subject is math.

Why math?

Because I love adding in my math.

What types of toys do you most enjoy?

I like stuffed animals, Calico Critters, Legos, big-eyed animals, hard animals.  That’s pretty much all.

Piper – people say you’re pretty funny.  Why do you think they say that?

Because I am funny.  I guess.

What do you do that is funny?

Not really anything.  I just laugh mostly.

Do you have any funny bits you usually perform?

Yes.

What are they?

Mommy – remember my – “your wish is granted” thing?  And also – “Goodbye Mr. Chips.  Goodbye.”

I do remember those.  You ARE funny.  You make me laugh.  What do I do that makes YOU laugh?

Say funny jokes.  Maybe.

Alright.  What would you like to talk about?

Uh.  I like talking about toys and food.  Totally food.

What kinds of foods do you dream about?

Popcorn!  Ice cream!  Bananas.

Piper – if you could spend one entire day doing anything you wanted to do – what would you do?

I would be playing with animals.  And toys.

Hey Piper – what do you think of Daddy’s beard?

I like it.  I like pulling it down at his chin.

What do you think about him shaving it off?

I do not care for it.

Why not?

We were getting so used to him having a long beard.  

Mommy?  That’s all I want to say.
