Not Too Early

March has literally just begun.

We’re talking – the earliest of the single digits of the month.

Spring has not officially started.

Does that mean that it is too early to drive over to Lowe’s and buy five of the cutest little green resin Adirondack-style lawn chairs?

Is it too early to let my adorable toddler son lounge in the lawn chairs set up semi-circle in the front lawn for a windy breakfast of a warm bowl of oatmeal?

Or to hang out in the warm afternoon sun with Bergen and take a long series of silly, mostly unusable camera shots?

Tell me,

is the beginning of March too early to purchase your first-ever juicer?

Too early to buy six lemons shipped from goodness knows where

to help your eager children create freshly squeezed lemonade

from real lemons

with their own two smallish hands?

I don’t think so.

The last passage reminds me of the best home made lemonade i have ever had (in fact, until that day i really did not know at all about home made lemonade – i had thought it a l w a y s comes in bottles with soda…)
well – it was your lemonade, Lacey. and ever since this day (almost 10 years ago in 2001 or 2002) – i love to make my own lemonade in summer time, with loads of ice cubes and a lot of fresh lemon juice.
and that's when i always remember my very first home made lemonade made by Y O U 🙂

I concur! We're in Florida, and it's MUCH nicer outside now than it will be in a few months when it is officially full-blown "Spring."

You should have had Page make you some chairs! 🙂 By the way he is starting on my kitchen table!!! 🙂

I would love to have Page make me some chairs.
But there's the distance… and the money – that wood is expensive!!!

      Okay.
I'll head back to the store this week.
Oh wait – who are we kidding?
Our kids won't be sitting down at all.
Unless they stick the chair in the stream.

Love the chairs. Bi-Lo actually has adirondack chairs in fun beach colors for $19 if you want to expand beyond green. Hope the lemonade turned out well.

Lowe's had colors too – and they were only $10!
But I thought the green looked so cute withe house!
