Product Review

try ePantry (there’s a free candle and a discount in it for you)

And so, just like that, Thanksgiving has arrived.

I am planning to back slowly away from the screen and turn toward Yahtzee and Pit (have you guys ever played that one?) and coloring books and blank notebooks and answering yes when the kids say, Want to draw?  Want to fish?  Want to bake?  Want to eat?  Want to cuddle?  (Especially the eating and the cuddling part.  Can we eat AND cuddle?  I like food.  And I like sitting still.  Win-win.)

Before I leave you for the very long weekend, which sounds sooooo nice, I want to put a few things up here for you in case you are a Thanksgiving weekend shopper but you want to eat and to cuddle and to shop all while staying at home and sitting down.  (Win.  Win.  Win.)

First – don’t forget about that handy dandy Amazon link on the sidebar there.  Or right here, of course.  You just buy the stuff you were already going to buy but click here first.  That’s all.  (And thank you!)

And then there’s this new thing.

Maybe you’ve heard of it – ePantry.

I’m still an experimenter right now but I just signed up for their influencer program and I think I’m going to really like it.

I’ll be sharing and explaining more as I figure out more – and I’ll get a side bar link up soon too – but for now I’ll just provide the info here.

ePantry is a subscription style service, like Dollar Shave or any other number of services out there.  Their products are household products such as cleaning supplies and personal toiletry items.  They particularly focus on a small number of brands that happen to be brands I already love and purchase – like Mrs. Meyers and Seventh Generation and Zarbee’s.  It’s not the kind of service where you commit and end up with stuff every month even if you no longer need or want it.  You buy what you want, when you want.  They send regular e-mails to alert you to sales or special deals and you can shift your package to arrive whenever it works for you.

I like any service that brings stuff I need to my front door.  I’m even willing to pay extra for the convenience of that modern day novelty.  (And I think I could argue you aren’t actually paying more when you think of gas costs and, more importantly, when you put a monetary value on your time – which is a legitimate thing, I tell you.)  But actually – the products are often cheaper than you can buy them in the store.

So – you know – win win win win.

Also – ePantry allows me to not have to miss school hours or to take up valuable weekend time or load five kids in the car when I run out of dish soap or toothpaste.  (Big win.)

My first order was sent for me to try out the service so I could tell you guys about it.

This was my first order.

A kind of random assortment that I picked out.  Usually there is a free item always available and it is added to your order.  See – the brands I already used: Dr. Bronner’s, Method and Tom’s.

This chapstick is a brand called Grove Collaborative that ePantry created.  I actually received a chapstick like this in my swag bag at the Allume conference and I loved it – so when I saw it here on the list, I added that to my order.

(It’s going to be a gift this holiday season – shhh.)

Had I purchased all of my order (instead of receiving it as an Influencer) it would have only been around $24 in total.  One of those little items is a Zarbee’s elderberry vitamin for the kids.  At Target or Whole Foods, that would have been half of the price already.  (Why are those things so expensive anyway?  And when every kid has one a day then that bottle lasts like three days at our house.  Which means – we aren’t regular vitamin consumers over here.)

I’ve really liked these dishwashing tablets.

I ike them because you don’t have to individually unwrap each one nor are they filled with gel that breaks open if your damp fingers touch them.

Plus – they look cute in my little enamel bowl.

Anyway, I’m really not trying to promote any certain brand here.  Just ePantry in general.

But – there’s nothing as convincing as trying it yourself.

And who doesn’t like a little extra motivation to try something new?

So here’s your motivation this week.

Use this referral link to place your first ePantry order before the end of November and you get two cool things:

You receive $10 off your first order

and

you get a free Grove Collaborative soy candle.

I love candles.

I love free candles even more.

You also get stuff that you are always running out of delivered right to your door.

(Plus, you can order chapstick as stocking stuffers – and frankly, I’d like Mrs. Meyers soaps as presents any day.)

When you use this link the $10 off and the free candle should simply appear in your cart — if you have any problems, please do let me know.  I want you to get your free stuff for reals.

Have any of your used ePantry before?

I’d love to hear your thoughts.
