Affiliates

I feel as if I am always promoting something.  Aren’t we all?

Usually something not-exactly-vital to life, but pretty dandy to me, nonetheless.

Like our family’s favorite shoes.

Our favorite field trip outings.

My homeschooling inspiration.

Or my current favorite read.

Word of mouth, for me, is the literal best way to know if I might want to invest my time or my money in something.  If a real person I know and like, whose opinion I value, says they tried something and it worked – or it failed – I take that to heart.  I let it help weigh in on my decision about the same product or event or movie.

That’s my goal when I write reviews or share my story – to let you know a regular person tried it and here’s what that regular person thought.

Sometimes I love something so much or use it so routinely or talk about it so often that I get the rather convenient opportunity for my words to equal something more than white noise.

I get to be an affiliate for a product or a company.

The most important part is – I tell the truth.  These are my real opinions about real things and I won’t make it up to get a few dollars.

The bonus part is – if my truth telling leads you to purchase something from said company, that company will give me a little thank you for sending folks their way. Sometimes that is actual dollar bills.  Most often it is credit with them that I can use for future purchases.

If you want to try any of this out for yourself, Im collecting these links in one convenient spot for you – right here.  With links to posts I write about and with links directly to the company for the affiliate connection.

Also.  Thank YOU.  Because I’m going to use the products I like I’m going to talk about them.  But it’s YOUR time and your clicks through these particular links that allows me and my family to directly benefit.  And I’m really grateful.

Six kids. Four teenagers  Three grandchildren. And we all know stuff costs money.  SO – again, thank you very much!

Native

I’ve thought about deodorant too much probably.  I don’t want to put bad stuff on my kids’ skin.  Or mine. I’ve researched. I’ve tried SO many brands. I’ve made my own.  I have two favorites, from all that searching.  Native and Lume.  (One of my kids still prefer Tom’s but I don’t think it lasts as long as Lume or Native.)  Native is my personal choice most days – I love their stick deodorant.

And apparently – you guys think about deodorant a lot too.

One time we had an entire LOG conversation thread on facebook about it.  I get a free mini stick of deodorant whenever you guys click through and purchase and after that conversation I think I had a dozen in one day.

I guess deodorant matters.

Try it yourself right here.
